Well it took some doing and nothing is wired in yet, but, (Fanfare) This is it!!!
Had to loose the airvent open and close switches off the top, so they are permanently open. The clock is coming out next week to be replaced by a new Apexi Turbo Timer. Gauges are L-R, Oil Pressure, Turbo Boost, Oil Temp. Also put the new head unit in (Kenwood W6031) and then got carried away with a full Audio Systems set up, amp/sub/speakers/tweeters. Now just have to pray the wife doesn't find the reciepts..... /pan

Its a carbon look vinyl, quite thick which is why I couldn't cut it neat enough to fit round the vent openers.
Looks great mate, what did you use under the vinyl to keep it rigid?

That looks great! I'm going to do a similar thing with mine eventually, I was going to get 5 gauges put in at the bottom there, I have mmcs which takes up all the stereo room so I can't have my gauges at the top.
looks dam good!
think i might do something along those lines :P

Its 5mm MDF with the top panel atached by the correct mounting points and the lower is just push fit in (Nice and tight) to allow for wiring to be done.

Thats looks bloody spot on! Only problem I'd have with it would be concentrating on the road with all those displays to look at - its bad enough at the moment, with only having the car a week it still a novelty watching the AYC bars light up as I give it a bit round the bends! Must remember: concentrate on road, not shiney things!/pan

Was just about to ask that.
Would you be interested in sharing the dimensions of the lower panel at all? I've been wanting to do this for a while. I actually had a dream of one peice from the vents to the bottom.
My dad's mate is a boat builder and has access to vacume mould equipment for FG and Carbon. (no, I won't be trying in carbon thanks)
