Now that I have removed the HKS Pod Filter (in the bin now), what should I notice. I assume I will be getting cooler air now into the engine now.
Better Fuel Economy ?
More Power ?
Smoother delivery ?Ideas ?

Better performance, especially around town when you would have been sucking in hot air before.

So, less so on the open road. I suspect my fuel economy may improve slightly.
I get a full tank and start my measuring again.

I assume you have the stock setup again? It might be a little more frugal around town, there probably won't be any differance once you hit 80kmh

Prior to the Transmission failure. The car felt a lot smoother. Fuel economy was about the same, however, it is too soon to call. Power delivery was about the same if not better slightly.
Overall, I would say the car felt more refined and less raw.

In a normal car they can be quite beneficial, but in a VR-4 the very high engine bay temperatures mean that (especially around town) the pod filters will be sucking in very very hot air which is no good for performance.
