Next month's spare cash is going on the suspension....

My budget is around £750.

I would like to lower the car a little and as my goal is to join you on a "Ring Trip" sports type suspension would be best....

What should my money go on?

if its coil overs u want - speak to Louis, I'm sure got a full set (new) for around that kind of figure, maybe a wee bit more.

If you just want to lower a wee touch, i think camskill do Tein springs. I have Ralliart springs which are good - dunno where they came from tho...

Ive had Tein, JIC and now just bought (and fitting today) D2 Racing coilovers. £720 for the FTO.

If youve got £2k to spend the top of the range JIC and Tein are superb, but the lower spec ones are just not adjustable enough. The Street racer Teins are only adjustable at the base of the spring, so when you adjust the ride height you adjust the firmness as well... Thats why I went for the D2's you can independantly adjust the ride height and firmness, making them 2nd to none in that price range. These guys are so helpfull http://www.d2racingsport.co.uk they will even swap your springs once youve tried them for softer/harder until your happy.

They have the VR4 98 onwards listed at £612.76 +vat and free shipping, but Im not sure what the difference is between pre 98 and post 98 VR4's.

Oh, and they are a pritty colour ;)
