thinking about a new car in april.. do i or dont i?

im seriously thinking about getting a new car in april when my bonus kicks in. i really wanted to keep it mitsi but far to much money for what i want.

so i have looked about and as luck would have it i can keep it jap in the form of toyota. so what am i looking at?

I can't imagine a single reason why you would want to change from a galant to a crappy celica. If you want a coupe, why not go with a mivec fto?

I've seen quite a few of those here in NZ and unfortunately I think they are f****n ugly. If you are going to get a celica at least amke it a GT-4.

sorry to ask - but why do u think an older celica will be any cheaper to run???

why not get a newer galant that needs less work done / lower mileage that not going to need anything other than petrol and servicing.....

Celicas would have to be one of the ugliest cars to ever touch tarmac. Ragtop or no.

I can think of a few convertables that, while I wouldn't drive myself, would list a little lower on my "@$%& right off" list.

EG. MX5, Escort, Impalla(if you can run a 383 or 440 ci), Saab etc.

Impalla would have to be my all tie favouite rag top. 64-66 to be exact. Absolute dogs to run though. Top burn outs though, plus you look like a pimp. :beerbang:

want a convertable...get an mx-5 bit girlie standard but with a few mods you'll have a pocket rocket that goes like stink
