I have a friend in Sweden who has worked with DSM gearboxes and now is concentrating on strengthening and modifying Automatic gearboxes.
Since the Tiptronic in our cars are the weakest link (I suppose) I figured we could give him a broken gearbox so that he could see how the gearbox has worn and how he could strengthen it.
Anyone having an old box to donate?
Prefarably one that has failed due to the most common error on our boxes... (you tell me what it is.. hehe)
I suppose people here would be interested if we come up with a solution..!? ;)
