Hi :)

Im looking for a replacement brake master cylinder to try to reduce pedal travel INSERT INTO post VALUES (brakes work fine but I like a really firm pedal) but new ones from Mitsi main dealers r quite expensive.
Anyone know where I can get a good used one ?

Have a word with Peter Lee at Kempys in Newzearland, he breaks mitsubishi`s and has at least one VR4 in as Ive had the engine out of it.

He will also be able to tell you if its standard to any other cars.

hmm im looking for a bigger master cylinder myself. my 7g galant runs a dumb 15/16" brake master. I think the eclipse and the your 8g VR-4's run 1' brake masters? most mitsus with dual piston calipers run this size actually, its only here in the philippines where mitsu skimps on that, giving their dual piston vehicles dumb 15/16 brake masters as well :P

if you want the ultimate in brake masters, go for the mitsu GTO/3000gt VR-4, i heard that they use 1 1/16" brake masters! farkin huge! :)

btw, whats the size of brake masters for the EVO's with brembo brakes? always wondered about that...
