New Wheels Ordered

They have been ordered today, but will take approx 6 weeks to be made and get to me.

After a lot of head scratching about getting the right wheels to fit over the Kads, over the rear Brembos, and still to fit under the standard arches bearing in mind she is so low, I ordered the following:

17 x 7" with a +38 offset

My current offset is +45 with a 5mm spacer, so effectively a +40 offset. The spokes on these wheels are a little thinner than the OZ Superleggeras I currently have and are virtually identical in design so there should (fingers crossed) be no clearance issues. I was concerned that going to a +35 offset I may get some arch fouling.

The wheels are from the Team Dynamics Pro Race range, and are the Pro Race 1.2 in black.

No mate, I missed a set of those on the MLR that went for £500, but they would have been no good anyhow as 8".

I like the OZ's I currently have and these are damn close to them in design.

My KAD's are powdercoated black, and the rear Brembo's (to be fitted) are of course currently red........still deciding what to do with these

IIRC I think they were 7.9kg ?

Was lucky today as the show we were at actually had some of these on display so we were able to borrow one and put it up against the car......let's just say I reckon I made a good choice ! Can't wait now /help

Thats a nice low weight, my new ones are 7.4kg each, they are 17x9.5" wedsport TC-005 in gunmetal :)

Well nearly 7 weeks after ordering them I get the call today to say the wheels are ready, tyres being fitted today and they will be delivered to me tomorrow.

Now the panic about them fitting really starts :rolleyes3
