CVR4,

As most of you are aware, we are currently experiencing several issues on our site/forum. These issues seem to only affect a portion of the members, without knowing figures I am unaware of the exact number of people affected. However we are about to further the issues by having an expert from the vbulletin staff come onto the site to investigate, and hopefully track down the route of the problem.

Thus i required everyones assistance, whether you are suffering from the problems, or not. Please select the appropriate Poll option, and If you are experiencing problems please fill out the following details to assist the Vbulletin Crew in their investigations.

Additionally, if you are experiencing alot of issues, could you please state whether or we we can use your forumID for testing, a temp account will be created for you to use untill further notice.

please be as descriptive as possible, attaching images would be very beneficial.

I understand a few of you have already gone over this, however I require a one stop thread for all issues.

Please do not chat in this thread, as I will delete it.

Thank you for your assistance I appreciate this immensely.

Following for Work PC on office network

Operating system: Windows XP Pro
Firewall: Provided thru ISP (AT&T) Type/Version Unknown
Browser and version: IE6.0 SP2
Issues experienced: At work:
- can't view more than the first 5 posts of any thread
- can't view the drop down menu's at the top
- can't use the search button
- footers missing of any thread with more the 5 posts
- randoms pieces/sections of html code at the bottom of pages that fail to fully load (usually at the 5 post fail point)
- images that open in a new window fail to fully load
- 'New Post' search cuts off randomly after approx 15 entries (see attached screen shot)

Following for Home PC on Home Network

Operating system: Windows 98 SE (Yea I know it's old but........it works)
Firewall: ZoneAlarm Pro on Networked PCs behind a network gateway/router (old PC running Linux 'Softwall' software) for broadband internet and networked PC data routing and printer sharing.
Browser and version: IE6.0 SP2
Issues experienced: Same or very similar to work PC

I've posted 3 or 4 screen shots into various "issues" threads to do with these problems recently, to illustrate problems, but I can re-post them if required.

Hope this all helps.

ForumID: g6acb
Operating system: Windows XP sp2
Firewall: Norton Internet Security
Browser and version: IE6.02.900.2180 / AOL 9.0
Can use my Account:
Issues experienced: Using ie6 - front page loads ok - but unless I disable Norton Internet Security anything to do with forums (forums, new posts, posts 24hr, search etc) gives a blank page with 'done' at the bottom

11870

Don't have this problem using AOL 9.0 - but god do I hate using AOL....

Using either AOL or IE6 i suffer from the '5 post' thing - but doesn't always stop at 5 (could be any post after 5) - Html usually crops up on the last post and no drop downs work

11871

Using either AOL or IE6 I get random bits of HTML with part of a message in it at seemingly random parts of the screen - drops downs still work in this case

11872

Also have problems viewing picture attachments in a new window - sometimes 1/4 picture, sometimes 1/2, sometimes more as though there is something of kb size restriction at it stops at that point

11873

the '5 post' thing and the 'html' thing are not happening as much as they were since the site went down at the weekend but the 'white screen' thing and the 'attachment' thing happen all the time

hope this helps in some way

good luck getting it sorted - I wouldn't have a scooby where to start.....

I put no problems, I haven't had any issues at all at work, the only problem I've had was when one of the SM7 meet photo's would load properly at home (56k), I just pressed F5 and the image came up fine, but I put that down to the 56k line.

After voting earlier that I was having no problems, I now am having trouble loading picture attachments.

ForumID: GroundControl
Operating system: Linux (Ubuntu 6.06)
Firewall: Nothing on this box, company firewall in between
Browser and version: Firefox 1.5.0.4
Can use my Account: Yes
Issues experienced: Image attachments not loading fully. Haven't noticed any other problems mentioned (e.g. pages only half loading).

I have noticed that they all stop at ~64kb (including in the test forum). This doesn't occur for items larger than 64kb in the gallery though (e.g. http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/Gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1457&cat=563)

Even this attachment doesn't quite load properly for me (hopefully enough so that you can see that the size it got to was 64970 bytes).
