To anyone wondering.... As Steve says, Nick and I did a thorugh service on it, replacing all major lubricants (including gearbox, AYC, Diff and xfer box), the coolant, the oil, air and fuel filters and such. The stuff that came out suggested that the car had been looked after quite well in the past.

If I'm honest, I think the bodywork comes across better than Steve describes it, it certainly polished up well and stands very nice indeed. The skirts could use a tidy, but that's not uncommon.

It's a good car.:2thumbsup

Shame you have to sell it Steve, good luck with the sale and hopefully we'll see you buy another one soon. (but wouldn't a better idea be that you just pay them back 5000 when you've saved it up)

Best of luck with the sale WC. Have always loved the look of this car since before you bought it. I remember the pics with the big base bin in the back.

If there is anyone out there looking for a VR4 but prefer the saloon. Then buy mine and I'll buy this.

The next time I see you, I'm going to bop you in the beak WC! Selling your car to buy a house, I ask you - where are your priorities man? I'll have a word with that wife of yours - maybe she can beat some sense into you.

I know where you live...

Ouch !!! that has got to hurt. Parting with a Super-VR4. If I had one, I'd move heaven and earth to keep it. They are rare beasts and I am sure even rarer in the UK.

Thanks for the comments guys, we'll see how it goes. It'll have to shift quickly though, If this house goes through as planned it'll either sell within the next month or i'm keeping it.
