well, i was never really satisfied with the crappy plastic battery box i bought,
and my battery dying just got me motivated,

Bought myself a Excide Orbital Deepcycle / Starting Battery 1000cca
and measurements were taken.

this was a combined effort by me and my dad,

its made of 5mm Aluminium Plate...

took a couple of days to get it sorted, its now bolted the floor and has a battery retaining clamp inside.

(yes i know i have red earth cable, ill change it all so so it will be correctly colour coded)

My next project will be a aluminium Cold air box

Looks very nice, watch out for the cables chafing through the holes though. Some rubber gromets would be might be an idea

yep, looking for some that are the right size,

If you can't find the right sized grommets, you can buy those rubber blanking grommets instead and just cut a hole in the middle -that's what I used to use :)
