All,

have any of you seen, heard, taken part in the Drifting Club?

I understand it to be a CAR club where they hire out an air field INSERT INTO post VALUES (track etc); wet it and then mark out a couple of huge sweeping corners.
Once wet you approach it, slip out the back end of the car and drift round. You get marked on distant covered and grace / style.

Anyone done it?

Would a VR4 be any good at this baring in mind all the gadgets i.e AYC and traction.

If a VR4 is good at it then what mods should i do to get the most out of the car? ive got £1500 to spend on bits n bobs.

Look forward to the debate.

Sounds like alot of fun! surely rear wheel drive cars are much more fun than 4WD cars though.
A 200SX for example in stock form can give you many arse out and clenching fun.

Either way, the VR-4 can slide like any other car it's just harder to do it.

Sounds like an interesting club meet too? :Ponder:
