where is it under the bonnet??

Need to tap off the rpm signal , had a quick look around but couldn't find it. Or i should say it didnt jump out at me!

it is under the stereo / heater unit in the center console . Have a look in the members section as BDA did a write up on getting to it and Bernmc did a write up on fitting a boost controller

At the front of the consol on the tunnel

Remove panel in drivers footwell small one on tunnel and undo the two m6 bolts ( 10mm spanner)
Remove panel in passengers side ( tunnel)
you will now see 1 or two ECUs depending on model
Undo m6 bolt has black earth wire on also.
This will enable you to move the ECU out to work on

thanks for that, i'll give it a try.

hadn't thought about the clocks, just thought it would be quicker to go to the source.. the boost controller wires go straight to behind the dash so hopefully it shouldnt be too hard
