Map Ecu available. Ditch your MAF and run with 2 filters eliminating the restrictive intake.

Electronic sysem that enables you to remove your MAF and adjust your fuelling to get the absolute best from your car.

Have been running with one of these for a few months now and its ace :2thumbsup Due to a change of plans I will now be selling one I have spare.

It will come with a MAP suitable for a VR4, but may need to be altered to suit your modifications. Full instructions and software provided.

£250

Hi Mr Breaker

Are these easy to fit and tune ?

Cheers John

Easy to fit, tuning requires a bit of knowledge about what you want to achieve. The software allows you to tune the fuel across rpm and boost ranges. It will come with a map that will allow your car to run, but some playing with a wideband is recommended. Full instructions are included.

Essentially it will do what an Apexi SAFC will do, but more.
It will do for fuelling what a Greddy Emanage will do
It has the added bonus of being able to run MAF free.

Cheers for that Legnum , very interested in this as I have seen them on the NZ website . Will this remove the need to get the ECU mapped/unichipped/Emanaged and does it remove fuel cut .

It doesn't strictly remove fuel cut, although you will find that it does move it. The VR4 overfuels, trim the signal that the ECU uses to determine fuel requirements and you will find that you fall below the threshold.

The big advantage of the map ecu is that you can obviously redo the intake piping which is absolutely terrible. It still isn't a complete ecu though, it doesn't do things like injector timing.

The VR4 Map on it's own is worth more than £210 /yes

What Glenn said.

Also it has been reflashed to give a more useable boost range for the VR4

-12psi to plus 20psi in 2psi increments rather than -10psi to plus 30psi in 2.5psi increments. This provides better resolution and finer control particularly at idle.

Think about it Logically... Who has a Map ECU on a 8G VR4 that would have posted up on that site ??

Wouldn't they have posted up on here first :o

I'm sure there's plenty of VR4 owners in NZ who don't even know we exist mate, but chances are you're right. No doubt Dave will confirm

After Barrys postings earlier this year of Internet searches for VR4/googleit

And bringing up CVR4 from nearly every conceivable derivative of VR4  I find that hard to believe:shocked:

You would be surprised just how many 8g's are on the road here, they are more popular than vectras and astras combined. Everyone that I've asked about clubvr4 has never heard of it.

I guess lots of them don't use the internet.

I'll tell you what K, if you drop your trousers, I'll drop my price. The unit is brand new, and I will even ship it for free.

If you want it and dont want the map but want to spend weeks and weeks creating your own map (Speak to Ken) then you can have it for £200. You could always pay someone £250 to tune it for you then.
