well to cut a long story short,
i bought a exhaust system of trademe for $200,

i paid they guy and havent heard from him since and the exhaust has not shown up,


i have his full name and account details,
a hotmail account and prepay mobile fone number.
ive tried calling and emailing with no responce at all.


his last name is not very common and only shows 13 people living in wellington with his last name. in the white pages.

anyone care to ring these people for me to try track this ass down!


also if anyone works for ANZ,
i have his account number any chance you could get me the rest of his info?!

not really, i have contacted them to see if they can help me,

but i doupt it,

so in the mean time ill try track him down myself.

Just called my bank, and they cant reverse the transfer coz it was made 1.5 weeks ago :(

Right I'll answer your question if you'll answer one for me.....

Firstly I have the link because I had that exhaust in my 'watch list' which is now in the 'Lost' items list.

My turn.......that auction didn't meet reserve and I'm pretty sure it didn't get relisted so how were you able to make contact with the guy.....

BTW.......I have more than a feeling that this exhaust has been for sale for sometime and was advertised in our local 'Trade and Exchange' a couple of times over a period of several months.

Now here's the thing........ I tried ringing the phone numbers given to contact the guy but.............none of the numbers worked (ie disconnected) so I gave up. In the end, got mine from up your way.............go figure.

Paid a bit more though.

Make sure you post bad feedback now, i got screwed around with something that didn't do what he said, weeks delaying replying to my mail, until the time to post expired, then never heard from the guy/duh You can always change it later.

The guy sounds like a **** some people have no standards.

I never liked the fact both were "out of service". Seemed dodgey to me. These adds appeared several times over a period of 3 or 4 months.
