hey,

its a big cruzie car to drive with abit of power when needed,

personally i would stay away from an auto version...

it will blow sooner or later if you try power up the car or the odd hard launch
over heating will kill it eventually.
.
get a manual if you can drive one.

oh ok folks..

this version is kinda rare though.....VR-4's are more popular

it's either this version or a 7th generation VR-4

I've owned a Sports GT since January 2006.

Engine/drivetrain is just the same as the regular VR-4. Feels faster than it's supposed to be ~ just a week or two ago I was chasing and catching an Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 V6, which I'm sure is supposed to have 250 bhp. I can only assume it was all the torque in the mid-range.

Biggest difference is the suspension. Ride height is 10mm higher than regular Galant, and I'd be surprised if the VR-4 had spring rates as soft as this. It's not really soft and wallowy, but it's definitely not sporty either. Basically if you like cornering hard, get a VR-4. If you prefer to just go fast on the straights, or your local roads are in poor condition, the Sports GT is a great alternative.

folks i think I'm gonna have to settle for a V6 N/A.. maybe a '97 model
VR-4's are kinda rare in Jamaica. I know someone who has a 1998 and another person who has a 1997 model...they look sweeeeet but I can't afford to even make an offer for any....LOL

So I guess I'll have to settle with a 1997 or 1998 naturally aspirated V6

the V6 is still pretty quick!

I think it's better to think carefully about what you can afford before you buy a VR4 than to get something you can't afford, and have your heart broken when you have to sell it.

Good luck with the hunt.

does it make sense to install a Cold Air Intake system in a N/A
