Hey guys new here, just brought my first turbo car (VR4 2L V6 Twin Turbo),
Just wondering, when i am boosting, when is my bigger turbo ment to kick in, because when i get to about 5000 RPM flat foot on floor it feels as if my turbo's stop at 5000rpm because when i look at my boost guage, The boost starts to drop. could this be something to do with my Standard BOV, i took the inlet pipe off it to make a Psshhht noise.

both turbos boost at the same time - its not sequential.

Welcome/Banana

Unfortunately most of the people on here have the 8g Galants and Legnums, with the 2.5 V6, not the pre 97 stuff. But I'm sure someone will be able to point you to the right place.:beatnik2:

Yeah you've got two small turbos, each one runs off three cylinders, so they spool up at the same time.

Twin Turbo Sub's have a small turbo and a large turbo, all of the exhaust goes through the small turbo, then they are rerouted to the large turbo as the revs rise.
