I have the philips RC599 CD-Autochanger panel which is standard on the car. What song file type files can be played on the CD?

The CD autochanger tray box is Philips RC 026

I have my doubts, its prob a bit old, although my autochanger went before i got the car.

Nah, it can't handle anything other than a standard redbook-format audio CD. It can take CD-Rs though.
