£1175- is this a good price for purchase, installation and tuning of a Greddy emange blue with harness and blitz electronic boost controller. Had this quote today and dont want to get ripped off again.I originally got my car remapped by chipped uk who i had used before and thought was ok. but has turned out to be an expensive rolling road.i only had the car 3 weeks when i got that done so didn't have a true feel of it so when he remapped it i thought yes good job but to be honest nothings different.i have spoke to alot of other tuners because i was unsure that it had been remapped and they told me that you cant remap our cars via the obd2 port which he did. anyway going off track abit there but is the above price any good.

Seems expensive to me...

What will the parts cost? Say £500?

I reckon its too expensive...

Have you done things like induction/exhuast/plugs etc?

just as a comparison a company with a rolling road up here wanted 750 to install emanage ultimate and do two set ups on their 4 wheel rolling road, but this was an offer they had on!

sorry, that price included the E manage Ultimate

This includes emanage blue, wiring harness, blitz boost controller, 4hrs labour, 4wd rolling road setup, including vat. They said parts come too £650 and if i were to supply them myself they charge more in case they have problems fitting

Im sure the emanage with harnesses can be had for £300 and a boost controller £200.

I reckon youd be best fitting a boost controller and sorting the induction first...

Then maybe emanage or SAFC after its all done....

Too expensive. Would try somewhere else or another route. Think the most cost effective way forward it buy a boost controller and SAFC secondhand and get them fitted and mapped by a tuner.

Can pick up SAFCs for around 100 quid, Boost controller for around the same maybe a bit more. Should cost around 100 quid to get the SAFC fitted and mapped and less for the boost controller.

Total about 500 tops. Thats the way i've went anyway, just need to get my bloody engine replaced first!!

Just to add, was quoted 500 for the E-manage blue including all harnesses fitted and mapped. You would be 300 at the most for a new boost controller fitted so the price is a bit OTT
