Simon Lucus North Shore are Hopeless!!!!!!

went to simon lucus to buy 2 rear lower arms.....3 week wait from japan and had to hand over $50 deposit.
they turned up yesterday and they had ordered TRAILING ARMS!!!!!!!!!!!!/Grrr

the parts dude was like "well what am i going to do with them i cant return them..."
LIKE ITS MY PROBLEM!!
he said he must of clicked on the wrong button and ordered the wron ones and would be ANOTHER 3 WEEKS!!!!

when i told him to stick it and i didnt want them he hesitated to give my moeny back! i had to get the thing i signed that pointeed out the deposit would be refunded if wrong parts supplied!

then went to wairau alignment to sort something out and the said they were fine coz vr4s and evos use rose joints and should have abit of play...
when i went back to mitsi they said "o yeah..."
HOPELESS!! so there was nothing wrong woth the arms!:speechles

haha, sounds like a fun story. So did they tell you originally that you needed the arms? I quite like the guys on broadway in newmarket, they are always nice and friendly and keen to see the latest mods on my car - although they haven't seen it for 6 months, I wonder what they'll make of it when they see all the shiney engine bay piping :D

Dude at work was doing a WOF on it and didnt know if they suppose to have play in them (i work at a ford mazda dealership so dont do too many mitsis!)
i rang simon lucus and asked what the deal was and the adviser advised me that there should be no play in them....
apparantly in the other models they have solid bushes...
just real pissed off with the parts guys service!!
then when i went to buy a wheel bearing for a chick at works 92 vr4 they said they would have to get it from wellington and would cost $500+ gst!
do they not stock any parts in auckland?

haha anywho my cars sorted now but its just real annoying!/wall

Yeah, that was me then :D. I won't hold it against you for being pissed off. Thanks for not going nuts on site though. I hated that job enough as it was.

I left SLM and am working for that software company now. Finally, something I can actually do well for a change.
