hi new to the site but currently have a skyline that im pondering on changing for maybe a VR4 Saloon... auto preferred but will concider manual.... its not a sure thing as i may keep mine but thought i would see if anyones interested and has something i like.

looking ideally for a straight swap with the mk8 body style cars please.

its a 1993 r33 gts-turbo 2.5litre inline 6 turbo engine. auto 250 hp in standard spec......very easily increased.

nice clean car with sideskirts, rear wing, rear spats and 17" dished wheels (235 front & 255 rear tyres -rears low tread) very clean car for age in two tone silver and lower gunmetal grey colours....
78,000 miles
imported summer 2005 (first owner in uk) no previous jap history but mot that states kmh reading before converted to read miles (mileage is made up of mostly kmh and some miles)

group 20 insurance and thirsty engine are its bad points but tjen no different from other similar cars.

I like the look of these cars! But I'm not in the market for one. Auto VR4's are usually much easier to find than manuals. Good luck!

Is it worth giving an idea of what you value your car at? VR4's can range in value from £3k to £10k.

cheers nick some good points there..... in all honesty as the higher performance cars such as vr4's, skylines and others seem to fluctuate loads im not sure as to its market value but i certainly wouldnt sell for anything less than 4000 as i would sooner keep and mod it myself. i imagine theres plenty of poor examples out there for around 3000 and then plenty of traders dreaming of getting 6000 + for one with higher mileage than mine......:undecided

if i did decide to swap should i see something i like, i would be looking at a 1996 model as unfortunately im not too keen on the previus shapes. not looking for super low mileage cars either (similar mileage to mine would be good though) just ideally want a good, sound & rust free car as i wouldnt want to swap and have expensive repair costs straight away.

was looking into 300zx's tt but most are too rusty and shabby with tweed interiors, and the really nice ones are lots of money
