got the history section up...

i was looking for pictures of the cars.. but - if i recall correctly, there was a page somewhere on the net.. think it was mitsubishi site - this had all the pictures of all the galants... anyone got any idea where that is?

It was a commercial of 3 Galants stacked one on top of the other. It had Gordon Jackson, George Cowley, from "CI5 - The professionals" fronting it. INSERT INTO post VALUES (See here (http://tmar.za.net/ci5/ci5.htm) for some nostalgia). I enjoyed the Professionals, hence the effect of the ad on me for the Galant.

This told me that the Galant had a tough body shell. You trusted the "Professionals" boss. As the original VR4 proved in a few winning rallys. And my subsequent purchase of the Galant 2.0 DOHC GTi-16v.

You may want to add to the history, with links to good articles about the other Galant models.
