This has been sort of bothering me for a while (2 years nearly!)
If you leave the lights on full beam on my car, or dipped, when you switch the ignition off and lock the car, the lights dont dim or go onto parking (i.e. just the smallest dimmest bulbs lit only) like all other cars i've had. So if i park up with the lights on full beam, they stay on full beam, is this normal doctor??

Oh yeah, the beeper goes off, just wondered if uk cars went automatically to parking when they are switched off. Anyone from the UK like to confirm deny?

Yeah, I've got delayed courtesy lights on my 02 plate 2.0 16v..... the interior lights come on when you unlock the car.... and when you take key out of ignition

My 98 GLS never had this.

However I think there is something amiss in the 'door open' switch with mine as the buzzer doesn't always come on when you open the door with the headlights on

And after 9 months with the High Contrast Dash I still have problems forgetting to put my headlights on at night /pan

Yes and it's kinda annoying. Stays on for about 15 secs after last door closes. Anyone know how to disable this feature? I have learnt some cars can have various features easily changed simply by different button combinations

Once you lock the car the light goes off, well on mine it does anyway!
