V6 clutch

Anyone sourced/have prices for a 2.5 V6 Galant clutch?

The garage I am using say that my gearbox noises may be a clutch prob..

Any info greatly appreciated..

I got a new clutch put in mine a year and a half ago when they put the new gearbox in. If remember correctly, it was about £100+vat
If you need the part code let me know.
The cost of the clutch is cheap compared to the cost of replacing it. It think it was 4.5 hours to do. That was to fit the new box as well, so prob a bit less.

Alan, i had the clutch done on the V6-24 i had, clutch cost around £125 and it was around £320ish all in for the clutch and fitting. The garage got the clutch from the local motor factors.

BTW what noise is your g'box making? noisy manuals are usually thrust bearings - might be worth while getting them replaced whilst the g'box is out - save having to pay for the labour again at a later date......

I don't know what the problem is...it has been sitting outside the garage for the last 2 weeks!! They won't do it as it will be immobilised once they drop the gearbox out....Strange - as I took it there to have the gearbox done! Talk about frustration.../Hissy
