lookin at wheels as usual...
can get some wheels that are either 18" x 7.5" or 8.5"

the 8.5s will clear brembos, the 7.5s may not...

for those running 18 x 8.5s
is your car lowerd?
any issues? guard/suspension clearances??

what size tyre are you using??

I think tmarkleuk is the only guy here running 18x8.5, if you search for his posts he says what offset he is running, I think it is 38mm.

If you run 225/40 it doesn't really matter much if you have 8", 8.5" or 9" rims, as you know from those 9.5" ones we had on my car, they will clear the suspension arm at the back fine, as long as you have an offset of 40mm or less.

I do run 18x8 with 235/40 tyres and do get some rubbage.
mine is lowered
Not sure of the offset but does seem low is guestimate at about 25mm just clears the shock arm at rear if that is the correct desciption

other way around, the closer it is to the rear suspension, the higher the offset. In saying that, almost all 8" mags will be close to the rear suspension. Looking at your car, it looks as if they are a little bit further in than EVO mags which are also 8" wide and have a 38mm offset, so maybe your's are around 38 - 45mm. I doubt you'd get away with having the mags any further into the car without hitting that suspension brace.

Do you run the 18x8's all the way around with the 235/40's?
