gettin my vr4 s-type this week how do i find out if its a 7g or 8g whats that meen and how do i find out if it got tc and ayc. sorry if i sound a bit dippy

what year is it ?? if it's pre '96, then it's a 7g. /Welcome2

but why???

AYC gets u round corners quicker than the car really should! most dont have TC so does yours def have it? if so just switch it off

it seem to just rev right up when you floor it and not change gear fast enough

put it into drive and put your foot down and it revs right up to the red then it changes
gear to 2nd, but it didnt have any fuel in and the tyes was flat will that have anything to do with it?

Well, that's what I'd expect - or are you saying the car doesn't move when this happens?

and your question is ?? :anxious:

being an auto, It will 'red line' if your foot is hard down. If you 'feather' the throttle, It will change around 3000 rpm or lower. :thumbsup:

no it move but not what i expected from a 2.5 v6 twin turbo! i just thought it wasnt getting enough fuel and the tyres being flat could not of helped

that looks like the one and only vr4 i test drove from ktc and it felt sh1t.

and tyres were flat as well

it just didn't feel right

The tyres were flat and had like ZERO fuel in it, it felt like a wollowing pig out on the drive. Really, if it is the same car.... Be Careful.
