removing transfer case on vr4 legnum

im able to get it off about 30mm but wont slide all the way off can anyone help

by this i presume you mean removing the transfer box from gear box.

if so it is a right b1tch to get off.

Ive found the best way now is to use 2 bolts in the gear box the wrong way round and put a couple of blocks of metal between the transfer box and the end of the bolts and wind them both out evenly.

and also the long bolt that came out of the transfer box put back in a hole that did have a short bolt in it and screw it back in to the gear box. this will stop the t/box from falling off and onto the floor.
