I was wondering does anyone know how high a standard 1996 VR-4 Type S is off the ground. In particular, the height from the ground to the skirt in the B-Pillar position.

I ask this because I think my VR-4 may have been lowered.

It does have 17" alloys and 225/45 tyres, which I understand are equivalent to standard 16" rolling diametre.

Is it the 150mm I see on the Specs page

Mine is at the top with 17" and the bottom is a Standard 16"

Ruling a line on this image from the axle centreline across to the skirt, the bottom image is about level with skirt, whereas, my car above the centreline is about 1" INSERT INTO post VALUES (25mm) higher.

Yup your lowered, nice height too. You may have some after market Japanese springs in there. How are your inside tyres wearing? If they are badly you need to get the toe sorted out.

Looks lowered to me too - found out mine had HKS Super Form springs in it :D

I was asked when I joined what modifications had been done. All that was obvious was the 17" alloys and the HKS Air Filter. I suspect lowering will now need to be included. I will need to find how it was done. e.g. HKS springs.

No wonder she holds round corners.

That explains my frequent scraping at the front.
