View Full Version : New exhaust fitted...

Thought I would let everyone know that I had my new exhaust fitted today. I took some piccies but as we've just moved house I can't find the USB cable to upload them :oops:

It's a Longlife full stainless jobbie with a 2 1/2" bore and single circular tailpipe around 4 1/2". It sounds really good. Went for mild sport noise which means it sounds throaty when making swift progress but not too droney at motorway speeds. I am really chuffed as at £349 all in with a lifetime guarantee it's a bargain. Took them over 4 hours to fabricate and fit...

Got to go back for a small adjustment next weekend as the tailpipe sticks out a bit proud of the bumper but they were happy to sort it...

I'll get some piccies up when I find the cable...

Torque seems to have improved. She feels more responsive at lower revs now.

Lack of sleep must be getting to you mate, as I'll be bringing Chris's van. I don't think that's got quite such an impressive tailpipe :uhoh:

There is so much eagerness to see pix of new exhausts and wheels that we need to consider a new policy of pix being a pre requisite before teasing with these kind of threads/posts LOL... /yes :D

In the end I did get to see it last earlier tonight. Looks very nice and has a nice deep burble......will wait for Wayne to post pix up :2thumbsup

Found my USB cable last night so as promised here are the pics that I took when I had the new exhaust fitted /Camera2

Of course, these are somewhat out of date now that I've changed the wheels aswell... Guess I'll have to do a bit more /Camera
