I just read that on a news site, died during a targa rally. I guess there is less room for error in a targa rally, cars are not as safe as a fully prepped race car and they race on public roads so plenty of trees etc to hit. Bad week for the aussies.:(

Yeah it's all over tv3 news. I just can't beleive it, I remember when I was 5 or 6 and idolising him at Bathurst and watching him in all of those races. Excluding my dad I think he would be the one person I always looked up to, and he is probably the main reason I love holdens today.

RIP Peter 'perfect' Brock, We'll miss you and the '05'

yeah dude, i remember watching him race when i was still an ankle biter...the man was an idol to me, the reason i love holdens, and racing in general.... the thing is, the price of a brock commodore will be stupid and ill never afford one :sad3:

You mean one of those Blue VK Brock Commodores? I never really liked them that much, if I had to have one classic Holden it would be a VL Walkinshaw, I've always loved that body kit :)

Actually thats a lie, if I had one classic Holden it would be a 1969/70 HT Monaro, it would match our 2002 Monaro quite nicely I think :)
