mmm.. not sure about that, unless they've got the year of manufacture wrong - reg date doesn't matter as long as the car was built before 31/12/2006.

When was yours made? Was it SVA'd before the new rules?

No idea when mine was made, how do you tell ?

It has been in the UK about 4 years.

£381 in Japan is too expensive???????

Admittedly you have the import costs. But not gonna be more than £1200 all in..tops.

Cars of the same age and mileage have been on autotrader recently for £3.5k to £4k.

So why is it too expensive???

Cheap enough.

Alone, the bits are worth a fair bit... box/diff etc

I bought one from Tau last year that I sold to Mo while it as still at sea, this was because I found another with lower miles.

It was sold cheap by Tau as "the engine warning light is on".

So what did Mo do ? Disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes, fault fixed !

1. Dunno - somewhere on a piece of paper I expect.

If it's been in the UK for 4 yrs, then it was SVA'd before the new ESVA rules, so wouldn;t have needed a model report at the time. Can't be done now though.
