Carsten, you know white mags aren't quite my style, but those look magnificent, I really like them. The offset looks great too, at both the ends of the car :)
Have you noticed the car being any slower with the new wheels?

I think your next purchase should possibly actually be an apostrophe key....

"They're the sex!"

;)

*sorry, pedant mode off, white on black - looks good to me..*

not normally keen on white wheels (except on rally look type cars) like the contrast tho, nice shiny dark car/white wheels thing. 225 tyres look a little narrow on the 8.5" wheels, and yes beware kerbs (as I found out)..

yeh i always watch for curbs...

yeh the rubber is a bit streched...i wasnt sure if 235s would be close to the suspension arms. so i went with the 225.

Strangly though the 235/45/17 tyres I have which are stretched on 17x9.5" mags don't look at badly stretched as that. It may have something to do with the higher profile? I do intend to move to 255/40 tyres when I get my EVO 5/6 flares put on at the back :D

I think I'm the odd one out. Honestly I don't like them :helmet:

The only good thing about them is the white on the dark car (love it) but there's just too many spokes for me.

Of course I'm in no position to complain though (you've seen my mags lol)

haha, my GF isnt that keen on them either, but its my car and i like them..

just getting used to looking at them rather than my old stalkers..

im gonna get the guards rolled eventually,
get the camber sorted,
may have to get a small flair kit.. from a facelift legnum/galant.

I wouldnt say no:scholar:

BTW the wheels look good, they just make the car look a bit small:pimp2: The brakes must make a huge difference as well.:2thumbsup

Ok 2 months after seeing them on your car for the first time, I like them.

Originally I thought that they didn't suit, but the look has certainly grown on me and I think they look mean.

Hope you feel the same? :)

Nice wheels!

Can I ask, where did you get your front bumper etc for your galant.

I have a VR4 and want some new looks for it... if any can suggest anything?

p911, those kits are made in NZ, not sure if there is anything like that available in the UK.

I don't like em myself but its not my car I think they are sorta rally slaggish and the leggie isn't really rally slag material sorry

well they stand out, cos the car is a dark colour. if you got chromies then i think it would look even better.

Have you thought of darkening/tinting all the side windows ??
Might give it a more meaner look

Cideris, that is one of Carstens goals to sort out at some point, but old rubber seals and stuff make it a bit difficult to do

Gly

Very nice.... beware of the underground carpark kerbing at the Auckland Muesum.... I got my back left mag unaware of the dimensions of the kerbing... I literlally cried! But I'm gonna get a fifth mag as my spare when my tires need replacing and keep the best tyre as my spare with my kerb mag! Luckly its not that bad you basically have to get down on your hands and knees to see it!

But again very nice and like others have said looks good with a shiny car lol...
