Glad to see more of the "other side" getting on here & giving these guys what for !
Is yours front, or 4-Wheel drive ? I didnt realise there were actually any FWD GTis in the UK, I thought the US got them all
Yeah my galant is fwd,not very common although i did manage to get another galant of the same model and colour for a donar vehicle for 200 quid.

Read a review if the GTi-16v on the bottom of my Signature. One hell of a car. Only really beaten by the VR-4 in the Mitsubihi Stable.

This guy also reviewed a 8G Galant V6 here (http://www.motioncars.com/archive/car_review8/content.htm) and came to the conclusion that the 6G Galant GTi-16v was a better car.
These 2 reviews, more than anything else, convinced me that, if I was going to get another Galant, it had to be the best. As you know the 8G VR-4 is it.

That car in the V6 review is almost the same as mine! Mine hasnt got leather or power seats , and it has a Philips radio-cassette with 6 disc changer as standard. Id does unfortuately have the fake wood and autobox tho! Im sure the VR4 is a much better car , unfortunately it is also much more expensive to buy and run , and if I was paying VR4 money for insurance , id rather have a Lancer Evo! INSERT INTO post VALUES (just my personal preference)

We are luckier in NZ.
I wanted to live my Dream for a few years INSERT INTO post VALUES (maybe 10-20); hence my purchase. I am willing to spend $1,000's on this. They say smiling is the best medicine. My stress level has halved since I got this car. Life to short to worry about money. Be happy, be true to yourself and this is the best thing in life.
PS: EVO's are just too Boy-Racer for me.

I like the executive one, not sure on the name? but it has a smaller neater spoiler and blends in more, not so aggressive and has slightly less power but still an EVO all the same.
Rare as rocking horse sh.. too I believe.
