Brands would be great, if not then we should organise a pub outing some time anyway...

just spoke to a mate that used to work at brands most open track day are in the week as most weeekends there got big dos on.

but if we wanted to hire the trak for the day we looking at £5000 all inc of marshalls and medical crew plus open pit lane

but i am looking into it a bit more as he also told me that he knows a few clubs that would hire the track for the day and then be o.k with a different club jumping in with them for a small fee so watch this spe for a brands hatch meet

Yauch, that is indeed a touch steep......

Can i propose a beer and curry evening some time soon anyway even if the track thing doesn't come off?

just a beer and a curry sounds good. brands do a track day i went with HJM in jan this year and was not that much.............. http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/brands-hatch/trackdays/event-details.asp?ProductID=2321 or http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/brands-hatch/trackdays/event-details.asp?ProductID=2290

Its that much 'cos its the full GP circuit - we only did the short circuit in Jan (which was still good, by all accounts).

IIRC, they only do a handful of full GP track days a year, hence the inflated price - summat to do with noise restrictions!!

The full circuit is on our 'to do' list but not this year and not in January either - it was too damned cold :)

Price wise exspensive but compared to what we paided at japfest £60 for 45min it does not seem that steep but how much track abuse can the car take in 3hr
even at 1.5hrs £99 thats less than japfest

But pub type meet be good also

Anyone up bluewater next tues
