Can you please advise? I recently purchased an imported 1996 Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4. The on-board touch screen computer system is mostly in Japanese. I am starting, until I get it converted, getting used to the screen. Does any one know what the two buttons are to the left of the screen, the markings are in Japanese? Also, what does AYC mean, is it something to do with traction on the roads?

AYC is an acronym of Active Yaw Control.

Find out more by clicking the 'Articles' menu button, then clicking 'Specifications' - there's a link regarding AYC there:)

Regarding the buttons - no Idea! I'd suggest going to the car armed with pen and paper and using good old trial and error:D

The buttons on the left :

Top one, main menu INSERT INTO post VALUES (Navigation System)
This then gives lots of cool on screen buttons to press and impress people with your fluency of japanese. Or not as the case may be. The best on is the bottom one which is the settings menu.

The bottom one :
Also navigation, but allows you to zoom in and out of the onscreen map.
