Anyone ever seen a 1999 prefacelift?

Well considering mine is a 1998 facelift.....

maybe it was first registered in 1999, ie it sat on the forecourt for a while. It is definately a prefacelift, the auto shifter is black and the dash is woodgrain too, neither of which i've seen on a facelift.

August 1998 was the change over date. And didn't old stock around that date become super vr4s?
