Just a quick question to see what panel filters people with standard airboxes are using apart from the K&N / HKS?
Anyone tried BMC ones?
And those with cleanable panel filters; are people using oil based cleaners to clean them? If so, how often?
Cheers

Ralliart does a dry foam panel filter... which is washable of course.

I had K&N and BMC filters.
Id have a BMC again if I had a standard box... no real difference between them i think.
OK, so this is probably a stupid question but...
where can I get a panel filter? I've trawled the Internet without finding any item specific for the Legnum? :speechles
Should I go to a Mitsi garage for a genuine one???
Help please

I'm sure I posted a link to the place that I originally bought my K&N from - try a search on K&N. Might be worth having a look at my oil analysis results (another search!) before buying one though.
Can't be arsed to find the original articles atm, and I'm about to be banned from the PC!

After reading several threads about the pros and cons of aftermarket kits and panel filters I am just going to stick with the OE filter and change it regurly.
I've just replaced a fairly dirty one and throttle response is improved, and I know that the engine is well protected, where as with an aftermarket filter there would always be a little doubt in my mind.
