i have only played with two evo's and both of them i waved bye bye too

i when we had rolling road day i had 309bhp at the flly wheel
so car doing well for what it is but i don't run a bar all the time only when playing around with other cars

Several on here do that just fine. The clutch will start to slip if youv got a manual though.

I run about .9bar with no worries on a standard car. But iv had it higher every now and again. If you go too high especially with a cold intake you'll get fuel cut over 1.1ish anyway.

The main thing about a boost controller is that you'll be able to get more boost sooner, which feels like a bunch more acceleration. You can see it on my dyno graph in the gallery.

The turbos cant really support much more boost to the redline as well, they drop off after 4/5k

I think anything you do to increase the power is going to increase the wear, but .9 to 1bar ish seems okay.

i not right into the engines as some of them are on here all i now is some people have boost cut before others mine will go to 1.3bar before cut but my dads will only go to .8bar before he gets boost cut

Yeah, 1 bar seems to be ok.

Evos? depends on what version, and any mods...

Was on the dyno and an evo VI turned up... 176KW ATW... Which wasn't quite as good as my 183.3!

I had IC and Exaust. was running standard boost. Went back with a manual boost controller set to about 15psi. Still ran 183.3KW ATW, but instead of peaking at 5500rpm, I got there at 4250rpm and fairly flat lined to nearly 6000rpm.

yea its wat i liike about them they look all stealth, oh and i cant get over the acceleration of them, my mate has a Legacy GT-B and it doesnt push you back in the eat as much as the galant, is it true that both the turbo's spool at the same time getting rid of the lag?

Yep. 2 small turbos spooling from about 1800 rpm. Legacies are a lot slower.

For a start do the air filter and exhaust. Letting the engine breathe makes a huge difference.
