sorry to put my 'Kieran' head on here, but how are you meant to keep them clean...... I can turn silver wheels jet black with brake dust in a week without really trying.....

and wont the brakes get a liitle toasty hot enclosed in double glazing???

just stoopid :afro:

I was thinking the same thing. also, what is the clear material? If its a plastic, I wouldn't want to get red hot brake disks due to lack of cooling and screw them up.

also, how long till they get scratched and become 'dull' not to mention UV deterioration.

I suppose if someone can afford to pay $8k for four wheels i dont think hes gonna worry about how dirty they get or whether they melt :inquisiti
He'll just get 4 more and chuck the others

true. also, the clear disks should be easily replaced too... since by the look of things they are bolted on :)

Could be treated polycarbonate, like motorsport windows or something. That comes with a scratch & UV resistant coating.
