The AYC fluid costs about $80 a litre or thereabouts and about 30-40 mins labour if it's done properly with the MUT

you can use atf but there is a proper ayc fluid. but if you have atf in it you cant really change to the proper stuff without purging the system which takes forever.
im getting mine done for $100 trade at mitsi, although he did tell me the way of doing it without the MUT but it takes hours

Can anyone tell me definitively if you can use any dextron III ATF as the AYC actuation fluid or does it need to be Diaqueen SPIII? I'm very confused after reading so many threads!

Has to be SPIII compatible. The only place you use dex III is the power steering
