Hey guys.

I keep adding new stuff to the Legnum [VR FOE]. If you know me you know I've got something new monthly if not bi-weekly lol.

I have slowed down modding the VR4 over the last month or so as I have aquired myself a GSR [FEWGTV] 1.8L turbo with some very interesting and unique mods to make it oh so fast. I'll be using that as my dedicated speed/track car and the Legnum as my dedicated show pony :P

I keep having problems with vBGarage and they don't seem to be going away so I'll keep my running history here for anyone that is interested in the progress etc :)

Here is a tempter shot of my new wheels my friend :)

Wheels are brand new 18" x 8" Koya Inox 10 on brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 215/35/18 tyres.

Keep up the good work, but are you really gonna ruin all that shiney paint?:5shots:

Thanks for the comment about the wheels :) I've always loved dish. Every wheel that I've had has had at least 1 inch of dish hehe.

What you mean ruin that shiney paint?

I thought you had a respray lined up? or has that been put on the back burner. The paint certainly looks good in that pic though

Oh hehe yea I was going to do it Candy Red. Which will go with the whole red interior theme.

I was planning to do it over the Christmas period or early next year, but that might have to wait because the GSR keeps begging for more attention lol

Thanks UC for dropping off that 17mm ring spanner at like 11pm. Oh and the torch so I didn't have to use the street light when working on the GSR LOL ;) Oh and your VR4 sounded ****ing awesome on boost, twin gates and SSQV blow off valve. Good stuff! :)

Front still needs to be painted, it's not perfect yet

Look how low it is :inquisiti The outside diameter of my new wheels, 215/35/18 are alot smaller than the old wheels 215/45/17 so it sits even lower than before!

Apparently I don't know how to clean, so she took over and finished it off. I'm not complaining ;) Did a ****in good job, better than I could anyway. Hehe.

Are the coilovers maxed out, or can you put it totally on the ground?:afro:

Thanks ;) Me too. I took a gamble as I figured it would be hard to beat the SVR4 bumper, but in the end I'm happy. And it'll look even better once it's painted :)

Coilovers, front has 1cm of adjustment, back has about 4cm. Don't think I'd need to wind it down anymore to be honest LOL

ummm yea... bigger rims = smaller sidewall tyre size, to make the rolling circumfrence the same so your speedo isnt out... yes your car is lower but only 1cm lower so thats not that much really... if u have your old rims and tyres still sit them nxt to your new 1s you will see the they will be the same size if not VERY close.
put your tyre size's into this to see how much 'smaller' your new tyres really are..

Got some common tyre radiuses for VR-4's here:

205/55/16 315.95mm
225/50/16 315.70mm
215/45/17 312.64mm
225/45/17 317.14mm
235/45/17 321.64mm
215/35/18 303.85mm -3.82% compared to standard!
225/40/18 318.60mm
235/40/18 322.60mm

My personal favourite is 235/45/17 with 17x8" rims, but my car will have 255/40/17 (317.89mm) on it with 17x9.5" rims :D

And for people with 19's:

215/35/19 316.54mm
225/35/19 320.04mm
235/35/19 323.54mm

3.8% is not much really compared to standard... its 4km/h less than wot u are really driving at when u consider most ppl walk faster than that its not much of a difference at all

1cm lower is alot if the car is already less than 10cm off the ground...
