Well i am andrew and from Mount Maunganui (Sunny BOP :happy: ) Anyways I don't have a vr4 YET but I have been looking around and they seem like good cars.

But I was just wondering when going and looking around, should there be anything I should be looking for on vr4's such as the AYC etc? One I have in mind is this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=79101527 what ya think?

You should keep an eye on things like how often they service the AYC, Gearbox, etc.

IMHO that car there might be a bit overpriced, are you specifically looking for a Galant, or would you go with a Legnum? Legnums are more common and tend to go for less (and you can carry more)

No I havn't it might be useful, and bradc, at the moment I am lookin at a galant, but if there is a good legnum I might. Just like the look more of a galant compared to the legnum.

Dunno if you're interested but I'm considering selling my 2nd VR-4 as pictured here http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19939

The story is that it was bought into the country at the end of 2005 at 102km's. The auto box failed in about August this year at 116km, and I bought it off trademe for $4000 and put my existing facelift autobox into the car. I'm in no hurry to sell it and it is such a nice car that I'm not even sure if I want to sell it, and after all having 2 VR-4's would be cool :)

But if you like black leather then you just might be interested in this one :)

Yea that is a nice car, I was just wondering on that link I posted on that car, how much do you think that would be worth really? 10k?

He has it at 11k, obviously the round number to bargain him down to is 10k, but I would suggest 9k, then he will probably suggest 10k for you straight away :)

If you're interested in my white one it will be going for about $7k
