Hi there, as in a previous thread I've had the same old prob with my AYC - I now have some Amsoil ATF on it's way to me so I can flush the clutch fluid and be back in business yay!

So my question is, in the meantime I have pulled the fuse on the AYC system to stop it doing more damage to itself, is this OK to do in the short term?
How about for say, months? :inquisiti

Hi yeh I'm not flushing the AYC hydraulic fluid, just changing the clutch plate tranmission fluid. Cheers!

Success! Thank you Geddes Automotive in Onehunga!

The guy there let me put the wagon up on his ramp and show him where to drain and where to fill, gave him the ATF fluid and bingo! He did it as well as a full service :)

So now I have a fully serviced car purring along and after a few initial groans the AYC unit is now working perfectly :) Thanks ClubVR4 :iloveyou:

Sounds good, nice clean new AYC fluid makes a big diff to them, quite critical

most likely :) Take it to mitsi and get them to change the ayc fluids and see what happens.
