I’ve just ordered a new V6 Sport front bumper from my local Mitsubishi dealer, and I’m quite surprised with the price, it only cost £294 inc. VAT. I was expecting around £400+. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of the story as I discovered I was missing the two dirt shields which sit directly behind the bumper, and these cost £95 each. I’ve also had an estimate for paint and fitting and it comes to £300 inc. VAT.
So in total I’m paying roughly £800 (ouch). Should be worth it though, as my current front bumper is in a sorry state (heavy lacquer damage, scratches, stone chips, bent in the middle etc.) and ruins what would otherwise be a great looking car. Perhaps I should do a before and after photo, both the bumper and my bank balance! :happy:
