Whilst Mags & I were recovering from our hangovers this morning,,,, :5shots: taking in the sights of the quaint market town of Shrewsbusy !! we chanced upon a small but charming curio shop down a small alleyway selling none other than pistons !!
not wishing to miss an opportunity to browse the wares, Maggie went on here way to peruse rings & things ?? /help /help whilst I called in to pick their brains as best I could. [ not that I was able to put too many words together you understand !! :5shots: ]
anyway............ they dont do forged internals as such, just repairs & replacements etc. but...... they did give me a contact name & number saying, & I quote, " If he cant get you what you want, then no-one can" /toycar

here's the details he gave me;

Jim Stokes workshop
unit 7
piperswood industrial estate
waterberry drive
waterlooville
hants
PO7 7XU

tel; 02392 254488

only passing on this info... anyone know of him/them ??

I'm not... not interested in forged internals, but if anyone else wants to, let us know the outcome. /toycar

If you want forged internals give this guy a call

He has a business importing Genuine Mitsubishi Parts, but he has a contact at Wiseco. Can get pistons in the size required.:afro:

Cheers,

Ben.

Might be better off to go to the Aurosport Show on the days the trade section is open. Its getting to the stage now that if you look about you can get cranks and rods custom made on a CNC machine from either billet or forgings for the same price or less than the cost of importing and buying 'on the shelf' parts in Japan or the likes.

Hi Don , do you not need a trade account or anything to go on a trade day

Don't forget you could also contact Kev at AP Motors and he may let you know where he got his imported from

I tell ya what... I wish we had the capital then we would buy Richy a CNC for making internals. After all if you can, you should and he can and he would!!!!!
Would make WRD a bit more specialised as well/toycar
