Eh up,

not sure if this is a worry or not, but in the last couple of weeks i've noticed a little problem on start-up.

when I drive off with the engine stone cold, it changes through 1st and 2nd find, then skips and jumps hunting for 3rd for a second or so before getting it.

as the engine gets hot (and therefore the gearbox), the problem goes and changes are fine.

should I be worried that my gearbox is on its way out? or am I worrying about nothing.

if it helps i've recently had a full amsoil flush and ecu reset about 4 weeks ago.

cheers,

Martin

Nope. Mine always changes slowly when cold. It only takes two or three miles for it to warm though. It serves as a sensible reminder to take it easy before everything is warm!

Think of it this way, as an experienced mechanic friend of mine told me when I was moaning to him that my Cinq Sporting was a bit 'wooly' untill it had warmed up...

A bit silly, but I think there's quite a bit of truth in it! /Devil5
