When painting Satin Black...

Laquer or no laquer?

im erring on the side of no laquer?

Any thoughts?

I have done a couple of previous cars in satin black, I went to a paint shop and got them to add 10% matting agent to a gloss black mix.
Reason for this is that if you use matt or primer, or canned satin black it won't last long as there is much less hardening agent in these. So if you use celulose or twin pack (with breathing apperatus), and a matting agent mixed into them you get a hard wearing satin black finish which will last.
DON'T use laquer as it is a gloss topcoat. If you sparay satin black than spray laquer over it you will end up with a gloss shiney car. Good luck.
