Hey guys, just a quick question. What is the standard size of our exhaust at the back box? Looking at changing my backbox in a weeks time and obviously want to order the right size.

The search facility brings up a few conflicting answers. Mainly this:

http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20820&page=2&highlight=standard+exhaust+size

Where Brad corrects my crap maths and informs me that the main exhaust part is 2.5" as standard. And this thread:

http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17789&page=3&highlight=standard+exhaust+size

Where Wayne and Nick both state that 2" is standard.

I'm confused. :dizzy2:

You help as usual would be muchos appreciatos :inquisiti

just measured on my white vr-4 and I can confirm the stock is 2.25", which before anyone tries and converts it to about 70mm (sorry couldn't help myself) it is 57.15mm.

Thats interesting, because the throttle body is 60mm, obviously the expanded and heated exhaust gases would have a much bigger volume than the incoming air, so I can't see why the stock exhaust is so small.
