Went out earlier and brought DVD 2 fast 2 Furious

My opinion it was pretty good :)
Still prefer the 1st one though :D

I agree - was a pretty good film but preferred the first too

Sorry - disagree. Some nice cars, some very nice cars, but the plot was not good and some of it was toooo far fetched.

Enjoyed the cars, but the film was cr@p!

I do agree that the first one was better, though!

I'm with Nick, the 2nd one was :thumb2: The cars were cool but that was about it. :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

The 1st one rocked though! :cool1:

Don't worry ... You haven't missed much.

I rented a DVD with "Real" boy-Racers on it. They literally trashed these cars. I'll see if I can get the name of it for you guys.

They really destroy cars. In one scene they took a 4WD and ran it at speed over bumps and it "crashed". Another, they took a Nissan at speed in the desert and destroyed the front suspension.

Real destruction. Not like in the movies.

Top Gear tonight destroyed a Toyota Hilux eventually , took so much damage and still run
Hit a tree
Put in the sea
Had a smashing ball hit it
And set fire to it
It was still running :D

I was thinking of posting that after reading what KiwiTT said. :D

Yeah the Hi-Lux coped quite well didn't it - lol !

And maybe we should write in to get the VR4 on the future classics board ? If they have the Corrado and a Merc Cosworth on there then surely the VR4 could be :Ponder:

I was thinking the exact same thing Pete:D... but public recognition is a double-edged sword...:Ponder:

True - but may push the values of the VR4 up which is good for us but bad for yourself mate! Also will of course attract more attention from thieves etc :nono:

Yes, keep its anonimity. My wife spotted a GLXi INSERT INTO post VALUES (your GLS) with spoiler and bodykit etc, and said there a car like ours. More of these will hide our cars even more.

If you like TFTF but want something with more of a storyline, try "Biker Boyz"

It is what it sounds like; the same sort of US underground street-racing film, but on some gorgeous custom street bikes & with an actual storyline beyond "wooooo, I can manage 120 look at me !"

Even if you dont recognise the actual bikes [which I dont] you can still drool over some pretty tasty custom paintjobs ! :cool1:

crap crap crap.. how many gears does one car have? anyone else notice the gear changes? think at one stage there were about 8 changes up the box.

:lolz: yeah seemed a bit odd kept changing gear every 5 seconds
I know the EVO was a 6 speed box
But you would have thought it was more like a 12 speed box :D

I too agree with this. I understand that Mr. Clarkson has given the VR4 a good review in the past? It's not going to make much differenceto non-VR4's, as they are out of production now anyway, so look-a-like competition shouldn't change much. The only downside is Kieran would have to save even longer before he could have one!

But then, depreciation is very heavy on these cars! they cost about £32,000 new and 3 years on they are less than half that amount, and that is official cars too.

Like you say, since they have discontinued it could be a likely candidate.
Nice car and others seem to think so to and it can't be any more rare, until we are flooded with imports that is.

Who's gonna contact Top Gear?
