Just had the 54K service done on my V6 estate and as I have suspected for a while, the front brakes need changing. Having looked back on this subject in the forum, there appears to be a lot of good comments about Rossini discs. Bearing in mind the problems about right size pads, can anyone update me if I order a pair of these this weekend. /help I tow a folding camper during the season, so decent brakes is something I really need.

I must admit that a lot of Rossini comments are from me - I do tend to Wax Lyrical about them, but then they've do the job very well on both my V6 and my VR-4.

RE: pad sizes... That's a bugger.... Looking at the picture of your V6 in your profile though, I'd hazard a guess that you'll have the "Revised" pad design, different to the "954" shape that the earlier V6s use....

This thread may help:

And this thread shows what a "1614" pad shape looks like:

Thanks guys for the updates. I think I'm going to stick with plan A and the Rossini's (No objection to the EBC's, Wodjno and sanct - except I note you two are both VR4 mounted). Thanks for the pointers about pad sizes Kieran. I was going to have the front wheel off tomorrow just to confirm everything before I order, so those two threads will be darned useful.
