ive seen some custom bonnets around the club.
just wanna know what will fit evo wise and where to get any other :pimp2:

You get "evo" style bonnets, but they aint cheap and quality may be an issue.

Funky sell some last time I checked.

Yep Evo style, but not from an Evo - different size.

Try Funky as Scott suggested or maybe buy the vent piece and get your existing bonnet custom cut for it - just as Andy (The Vee) did

On a related topic, whats the best style bonnet we could get (placement of vents etc)?

for the vents, I used STX - not the cheapest, but seemed about the best look (yes, they do vary) Then of course they need fitting

Im not so much worried about looks but good air flow functionality

DJB - have a look at my bonnet. It has the holes in a perfect position to let hot air come out from the radiator as well as the front turbo.

Oh yes dont you worry Ive definitely seen you bonnet. Any downsides to it?

It doesn't fit 100% perfect, I'd give it a 95% mark :)

If you look on the side where the evo style scoop is, the bonnet lines up perfectly with the guard until about the point where the bumper ends, then it starts to stick up a little bit, probably by about 5mm at the end just above the headlights. It is perfect on the other side and appears to be warped slightly. I'm going to get some flush bonnet pins installed on it.

i like the bonnet with the little scoop just above where the battery is (or where a custom airbox would go) anyone know where you can get this in nz?
